Worship Arts
Worship begins with the premise that God is the audience. The worship team leads the congregation in worship songs intended to help worshipers focus their attention on God and be drawn into times of intimacy with Him. There are times when worship is celebrative as we consider who God is and what He has done. There are other times when it is more reflective as we consider our response to Him. Our worship time includes a mix of current contemporary Christian music and traditional hymns that we all love to sing.

Hebrews 12:1-2
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which slings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.”

Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and joy are in his dwelling place. Ascribe to the LORD, all you families of nations, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength. Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; bring an offering and come before him. Worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness. Tremble before him, all the earth! The world is firmly established; it cannot be moved. Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad; let them say among the nations, “The LORD reigns!”
